The Big, Bad Bible
The Bible can be very daunting as well as frustrating. Here is a book containing books. A total of 66 books written by 40 different authors over a span of 1500 years. 39 Old Testament books, 27 New Testament books, all in total make up the Canon of Scripture…better known as the Bible.
The word Bible is an English translation for the Greek word bíblos word meaning “book”. So affectionately referred to by some as The Book. From Genesis to The Revelation we see God acting out patiently upon the stage of humanity to bring a fruition to evil by the triumph of good.
